Our accidental stay at Hotel Arpoador turned out to be the highlight of our time in Rio. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enchanted by the thoughtful design and attention to detail evident in every corner of the hotel. The amenities exceeded our expectations, with everything from plush towels to stylish trash bins reflecting the hotel's commitment to excellence. The food at the hotel's restaurant was nothing short of marvelous, prompting us to forgo our plans elsewhere and return for every meal. The inclusion of breakfast, morning yoga sessions, a well-equipped gym, pool access, and a dedicated beach area with complimentary towels made our stay all the more enjoyable and hassle-free. However, what truly sets Hotel Arpoador apart is its exceptional service. The staff members are not only friendly and outgoing but also remarkably attentive, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and relaxed. This will always be the hotel we use when we visit Rio in the future.
Location was perfect for anyone who wants to walk Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The staff is top grade. They were attentive, kind, and efficient. Rooms were small but cozy. The food was great at the hotel. And the restaurant is just awesome to hang out and rest your feet during. Long day exploring.
The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours in the hall at night. If you’re a light sleeper you will be woken up by people coming home late and talking in the halls. Wear ear plugs and you’ll be fine. The spa is a bit oversold for what it is: a room with two massage tables.
